Dr. Faranak Kamangar, MD
Dr. Kamangar is a board certified Dermatologist practicing in Palo Alto, California and is the Chief Medical Officer at KAMAN Biotech.
Dr. Kamangar has a record of commitment to research and excellence in the field of antioxidants and dermatology with over 17 years of clinical research experience. Dr. Kamangar has authored an impressive 20+ publications and book chapters. She has presented her research nationally as well as internationally. From her combined years of research in antioxidants and her success in harnessing the power of light and laser therapy, Dr. Kamangar is committed to focusing her efforts in bringing these therapies to all patients that suffer from dermatologic conditions.
Dr. Kamangar has always taken on a strong leadership role in her community including serving as the Chair of the San Francisco Dermatologic Society, a member of the American Academy of Dermatology. She has extended her outreach abroad to the Philippines on a surgical mission along with surgeons operating on children with cleft lip and palate deformities with Operation Restore Hope. She is an avid physician representative for Climate Change and is the founder of the Climate Change: Physicians Group.
